on saturday, matt and i celebrated two years of marriage. we celebrated by going to the Institute of Arts in Minneapolis and went for sushi afterwards. we had a great time perusing the art. matt had to see a real samurai sword, and i enjoyed a lot of the early american displays. we had a good time.
and what an eventful two years it has been! we are so thankful for the many growth opportunities we have had, as well as the wisdom and support surrounding us. we are so happy to be in this place in our lives. God is GOOD. we are learning and growing and changing. no matter how much or little money we have, our bellies are full with good good love, memories, and family. i am so thankful to have a husband that is my best friend, my soul connection, can make me laugh until i cry, and a natural awesome father to our little girl. i am so blessed.
yesterday stella turned 10 months old. she is a sponge. she does "so big", waves, claps, can stand unassisted for a few seconds. she's not waking up for food anymore in the night. her hair grows after every nap, i swear, and she is getting some fabulous golden curls.
she likes to babble, but she doesn't seem to really know what she is saying yet. her cousin Tre taught her to say "yeah" after a question. she will grunt "eh". if you tell her something is ucky, many times she will go "eghkkk". she can also say "nighnigh", "momma", and "dada". sometimes she knows what they mean.
as far as mobility goes, she can walk holding one of my hands but she gets tired of it easily. speed crawling is way easier. and as far as size goes....
...what a big girl. we love her!
